Over its 30-year history Artexpo has witnessed the development of many of the art world’s most popular names, including Andy Warhol, Robert Indiana, Peter Max, and many others that used the show to help launch their careers.
Their success prompted the birth of SOLO, a special section of the show dedicated to showcasing the work of the world’s emerging, independent artists. SOLO’s debut in 2003 was met with much anticipation from both artists, looking for a channel to get their work into the art marketplace, and galleries, who visit the show each year in search of fresh talent.
